When a bone is broken and they need to be put back into the correct alignment then a Fracture Setting may be appropriate. There are two procedures that can be applied, closed reduction or open reduction. When the bone is broken in one place, surgery may be avoided with a closed reduction procedure. However, if the bone is broken in many places then an open reduction may be warranted. This is performed by applying a surgical incision to get to the broken area of the foot.
